Hello, I’m Augusta Murphy, the owner and quilter behind Augusta Quilts.
I’ve been sewing for as long as I can remember—long before quilting became my passion. Growing up, a needle and thread were never far from my hands, and that early love of making has shaped everything I do today. I discovered quilting in 2007, and it quickly became far more than a hobby. It became the perfect blend of creativity, precision and craftsmanship. Every quilt presents a unique opportunity to create something meaningful, and I believe the quilting should enhance the story already stitched into the quilt top.
Since 2018, I’ve had the privilege of quilting for clients, helping them transform their carefully pieced tops into finished quilts they’ll treasure for years to come. Whether it’s a cherished family heirloom, an exhibition piece or a gift made with love, I approach every quilt with the same care and attention to detail I would give my own.
